The Challenge | A vacant apartment style condo was up against 11 other similar units for sale in the same building due to large increases in the condo fees. Upgrades were required so the owner needed to price near the top of the competition. Budget for staging was minimal.
Solution | We managed the upgrade process which included painting, light fixture upgrades, a kitchen facelift including new countertops and sink, bathroom tub and tile recoating and flooring. Using bargain finds, we staged an eclectic look to hinted of travels to tropical destinations without having to arrange for someone to check the house.
Result | Listed in June, 2007, the unit sold in 45 days, before all of the lower priced competition, and received 94.6% of the asking price.
