The Challenge | Some rooms were over furnished and others nearly bare. The rooms lacked some finishing touches to bring the home to life and show off it's features. Curb appeal needed some attention too.
Solution | In preparation for staging, the homeowners replaced a few dated light fixtures. We rearranged furniture, moving items from room to room, removing some and adding others. We provided some finishing touches of art and accessories from our inventory and the homeowner purchased others. Outside, the owner followed recommendations for painting the door, shutters and trims. Some colourful flowers and mulch were added to the front flower beds.
Result | Listed in April, 2008, in the mid $400,000's the home sold in 21 days for 95.6% of asking. Since the family had already made their relocation plans, this speedy sale was their goal.
